We’re More Than a Clean-Up Crew — We’re a Community in Action.
At the heart of our work at Retsa Tsela NPO is a simple belief: a cleaner community is a stronger one. Our initiatives are powered by residents of Promosa and surrounding neighborhoods who are passionate about creating greener, safer, and more livable public spaces.
Through regular clean-ups, educational outreach, and local partnerships, we tackle illegal dumping, encourage recycling, and restore pride in the environment we all share.
Promosa Park is more than just a patch of green — it’s where families gather, children play, and the community comes to life. Sadly, it has suffered from years of neglect and illegal dumping. That’s where Retsa Tsela NPO stepped in.
What We Do:
Host regular clean-up days to remove waste and restore the park.
Educate volunteers and residents on proper recycling and waste disposal.
Collaborate with local stakeholders to maintain a safe, welcoming space.
Our Impact So Far:
✅ Over 100 bags of waste removed
✅ 10+ dedicated volunteers support us monthly
✅ Park revitalized into a safe, vibrant space for families and children
We actively address illegal dumping in hotspots like Macdonald Street and Galant Street. Our efforts reduce health hazards and uplift the quality of life for residents.
